Today, we bring you the detail of such prepaid plans from Airtel which offers life insurance cover to its subscribers.
1. Airtel Rs 179 prepaid plan: This plan provides the customers with 2GB of 4G data access along with unlimited calling benefits without any FUP limit. The pack also comes with a total of 300 free SMSes with a validity of 28 days. The plan benefits are similar to the company’s Rs 149 plan, however, the extra Rs 30 charge is for a life insurance cover worth Rs 2 lakh from its partner HDFC Life insurance. Additionally, subscribers can enjoy all the live TV channels as well as movies and shows, and will also get unlimited Hellotunes and free access to Wynk Music.
2. Airtel Rs 279 prepaid plan: This offer provides the customers with a data benefit of 1.5GB per day including unlimited calls and 100 daily SMSes with a validity of 28 days. The plan benefits are similar to the company’s Rs 249 plan, however, the extra Rs 30 charge is for life insurance cover to users. Under this plan, the company offers the customers an insurance cover worth Rs 4 lakh from its partner HDFC Life insurance.
Apart from this, the subscribers also get a free premium membership of Xstream App, free Hellotunes, Wynk Music subscription, a free 4-week course on Shaw Academy, anti-virus for your phone, and Rs. 150 cashback on FASTag.
According to the insurance terms and conditions, the insurance will only be provided to consumers between the age of 18-54 yrs. It is paperless insurance, so it does not require any paperwork from the customer side. After the plan is successfully activated, the policy certificate will be made available online and can be accessed digitally.
